The Specs
The SmartTrace Wireless Communication Module is an industrial radio communication module that allows communication conductivity to remote or non-networked electrical heat trace control panels. It integrates into our revolutionary SmartTrace monitoring system to reduce the total cost of your EHT system. It can be configured to your exact specifications.
Our module line consists of the following:
- Enclosure
- Power supply
- Modbus TCP/IP protocol converters (Master Radio Options)
- Cellular Option (Cellular Master Radio Option)
- 900MHz serial radio
A minimum of two radio transceivers are required to establish a network. A master Radio located at a network or cellular connection points and one or more Slave modules to connect to field heat trace control panels. The standalone enclosures can be configured in many ways, selecting from a range of options: enclosure material, network connection options, and antenna type.
Each SmartTrace Communication Module is used to connect heat trace control panels that support Modbus RS-485 RTU or ASCII to connect our SmartTrace monitoring and management software solution to provide seamless, real-time updates for your electrical heat trace system.
